Most nail trends are designed to be photographed. Ours are designed to be worn. That distinction sounds small until you notice how much of the industry optimises for the thirty seconds after your appointment rather than the three weeks you actually live with the result.
A quieter manicure is not a plainer one. It is one that has been considered for your hands specifically – your proportions, your daily wear, the fifteen things you touch before 9am. Restraint, done well, takes more judgment than embellishment, not less.
This is also why we build our process around preparation rather than improvisation. A design chosen in advance, gives our artists time to actually think about your set before you sit down – rather than deciding on the fly while another client waits.
The result tends to look, unhelpfully, like very little happened. That is the point. The best-kept hands rarely announce themselves.
